  • IP address, browser, device type, operating system, language, time zone, referring page, pages viewed, link activity, and access timestamps;
  • Device identifiers, local-storage identifiers, session information, security signals, and logs used to operate the one-account and anti-abuse controls;

2.6 Communications

We collect emails, contact-form submissions, account-recovery requests, KYC correspondence, customer-support communications, complaints, security reports, and marketing preferences.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information:

  • Directly from you when you register, submit KYC documents, purchase Gold Coins, contact support, or change account settings;
  • Automatically from your browser or device when you use the Services;
  • From our Google Apps Script backend, Google Sheets records, Google Drive KYC storage, security logs, and related operating systems;
  • From approved payment, identity-verification, fraud-prevention, email, hosting, analytics, or customer-support providers;
  • From public records or watchlists when reasonably necessary for identity, security, fraud, or account-access review.

4. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Create, authenticate, maintain, recover, restrict, or close Player Accounts;
  • Verify age, identity, payment authorization, and account ownership;
  • Maintain the canonical Gold Coin balance and settle game rounds using server records;
  • Process optional Gold Coin purchases, receipts, refunds, disputes, and charge reversals;
  • Operate KYC, blacklist, self-exclusion, fraud-prevention, device, and security controls;
  • Detect duplicate accounts, automated activity, balance manipulation, unauthorized access, abuse, or violations of our policies;
  • Respond to questions, support requests, complaints, and account-security reports;
  • Send service messages, purchase confirmations, account notices, security alerts, and communications you request;
  • Send marketing communications when permitted and subject to your preferences;
  • Maintain, test, debug, secure, analyze, and improve the Services;
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and comply with lawful requests or applicable obligations.

Depending on the context and applicable law, we rely on your request or consent, performance of our agreement with you, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Services.

5. KYC and Identity Verification

Cook International Casino retains a KYC process even though Gold Coins have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed. We may request KYC information to confirm that a user is at least 21 years old, verify account ownership, investigate suspected fraud or impersonation, satisfy payment-provider requirements, protect users, and comply with applicable law.

KYC documents are sensitive. Access should be limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need the information for verification, security, support, or legal purposes. We may reject or restrict an account if required information is missing, appears altered, cannot be verified, or conflicts with account information.

Do not send identification documents through ordinary email unless our support team specifically instructs you to do so. Use the designated KYC submission process when available.

6. Payments and Gold Coin Purchases

When live purchasing is available, an approved payment provider will process the payment. The provider may collect payment-card or bank information directly under its own privacy policy. We receive transaction details needed to confirm the purchase, credit the correct Gold Coin package, prevent duplicate credits, issue receipts, investigate disputes, and maintain accounting records.

Gold Coins are virtual entertainment credits with no monetary value. A purchase does not create an opportunity to obtain money, prizes, merchandise, gift cards, cryptocurrency, discounts, or anything else of real-world value.

7. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, browser local storage, and session storage to:

  • Remember the 21+ age-gate confirmation for the current browser session;
  • Maintain login and security sessions;
  • Cache a last-known Gold Coin balance while the canonical balance is refreshed from the backend;
  • Remember preferences, device identifiers, and interface settings;
  • Prevent duplicate promotional actions and detect abuse;
  • Measure site performance and diagnose technical problems.

You can clear browser storage or adjust browser settings, but doing so may sign you out, reset the age gate, remove preferences, or affect account and game functionality.

8. How We Share Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Hosting, cloud, database, email, identity-verification, payment, fraud-prevention, analytics, security, and customer-support providers;
  • Google services used for Apps Script, Sheets, Drive, logging, and related backend functions;
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and contractors subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations;
  • Government authorities, courts, or law enforcement when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the Services;
  • A purchaser, investor, lender, or successor in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, restructuring, asset transfer, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify an individual.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, satisfy legal or accounting obligations, and protect security. Retention periods vary by record type.

  • Account records may remain while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward;
  • Purchase, refund, dispute, and accounting records may be retained for applicable tax, accounting, and legal periods;
  • Security, blacklist, self-exclusion, and fraud records may be retained as reasonably necessary to continue enforcing access restrictions and prevent repeated abuse;
  • KYC documents should be deleted, anonymized, or access-restricted when no longer reasonably needed, unless a longer period is required or justified.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Measures may include HTTPS connections, access controls, salted credential hashes, role-based administration, event logging, transaction idempotency, server-authoritative balance records, restricted KYC access, and account-review procedures.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and devices and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. See our Account Security page for practical steps.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification, you may request that we:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information;
  • Provide access to or a copy of certain personal information;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Delete information when an applicable right exists and no retention exception applies;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Stop sending promotional emails.

To submit a request, email cookinternationalcasino@gmail.com. Include enough information for us to locate your account, but do not email a full government identification number. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing a request.

12. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, targeted advertising, profiling, or the sale or sharing of personal information. The availability and scope of these rights depend on the law that applies to the request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification.

13. International Processing

Some service providers may process information in jurisdictions other than the place where you live. When required, we use contractual, technical, or organizational measures intended to protect information transferred across borders.

14. Adults-Only Service

The Services are intended only for people who are at least 21 years old. We do not knowingly permit minors to create Player Accounts. If you believe a person under 21 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate, restrict the account, and delete information when appropriate and legally permitted.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to or embed services operated by other companies, including payment providers, YouTube, social platforms, and separate Cook International subdomains. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent privacy practices.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Services, technology, providers, security practices, or applicable requirements. The “Last Revised” date will identify the current version. We will provide additional notice when required.
